How to Deal with a Broken Heart

No matter how strong you may think you are or how you made it seemed to be, it'd be a lie if you say you have never cried because of a broken heart before. Because everyone does. It's no use trying to act like it never happened or like you're okay with it because it isn't and it shows. Maybe not on your expression but your eyes will always give it away so don't try so hard to hide it. It's okay to be heart broken. It's not a crime. Everybody gets hurt sometimes. That's why we are born with feelings, right? To feel. And if feeling hurt is a feeling, then for sure you have to feel it. If you ask me, I'd rather feel hurt than not feeling anything at all. Wait, let me think that over. Haha!

It's not easy trying to deal with a broken heart because it hurts like hell. A guy that you like doesn't like you back and suddenly you feel like your world comes crashing down and every day is suffocating. Well, at that time it may seem that way but you'll get over it sooner or later. So, how are you going to get over heartbreak? How are you going to mend a broken heart. Well, the best solution is time. Nothing heals better than time. But of course waiting for time to do the healing would dreadful because these kind of wounds usually take a long time to heal. While waiting for time to do it's magic, you can try doing other things to keep your mind off your broken heart and that person who broke it.

1#  The First Step: CRY Your Heart Out

The first thing you have to do is cry. Let it out. Don't hide your pain and suppress it just because of those people who thinks it's stupid to cry over someone who doesn't like you back. It's not stupid to like someone. We're only humans after all. We fall in love and get hurt. And if they don't like it, then they should stop being humans. There's no need to be all sarcastic about it. Maybe they think it's stupid because to them they're other more important things to think about but hey, pain is still pain. It can't be measured, meaning that you can't compare you pain with someone else's. You can't say to someone that your pain is greater than theirs. For example, saying that your friend should shut up and stop crying over some jerk who broke her heart because you think if someone should be crying right now, it should be you because you lost you parents. WHATTT?? You can't do that. It's not right. So tell those people yeah, maybe they're right. Maybe there are other important things to think about then cry over something like this but it's not a crime to cry. Just let those heartbroken people cry. Don't say anything and let them cry. Because if it was those people who are so sarcastic about it, they'd cry too.

2#  The Second Step: Talk about It

After crying your heart out, it won't be enough. You need someone to lean on and talk to. You can cry again in front of your friends if you want to. It's not like you can cry once and then not cry anymore. Crying kinda makes it hurt a little less. Don't keep it all bottled up inside. It'll only hurt more. Sometimes talking about it makes things a little bit better. Why? Well, because, you let it out- the things that you've been wanting to say out loud. But of course, you can't talk to just anyone, even though sometimes it feels like the strangers you met on the streets are more interested in what you're going to say than people who actually know you, because you can't simply trust just anyone, right?

3#  The Third Step: Try to Get that Person Off Your Mind

After letting it all out, now you can start pulling yourself together.  Try to get that person off your mind and maybe out of your heart but don't hate him just because he doesn't feel the same way you do. Hating someone is never a good thing, now is it? Do things that you love. Listen to music. Dance or something. Write a poem or something. If it was me, I'd probably write a poem about my heartbreak. Hehehe~ There are a lot of fun things you can do.

4#   The Last Step: Forgive and Forget (and Let Go)

Finally, the last step is to forgive, forget and let go. If there are still things that are left unsaid and you feel that it should be said then tell that  person and settle things gently like adults. And hey, you can still be friends, right? That's the mature thing to do. Don't do childish things like trying to ruin his life or something. Let it go and just walk away.

And if you're still not over him then I suggest you look at Lee MInho's pictures and be all "where have you been all my life?" Hahaha!!

LEE MINHO!!! Kyaaa~
